2018 Plans! So much going on!

April 12, 2018 By cminowa Leave a Comment

Greetings! We have exciting plans for 2018! We will continue our expansion of Earthology Park, our Earthology Retreat Center, and our efforts toward health and sustainability.

In early April of 2018, Earthology Institute partnered with the Minnesota Orchestra Plus grant foundation to develop a traveling art installation entitled “Live Like You Mean It”. The installation is made up of various interactive exhibits that focus on reverence for the deceased and the preciousness of life, and our responsibility to it. The installation was visited by several thousand people in early April and will travel to San Francisco in mid-April to take part in kicking off a citywide event entitled Reimagine Death.

In the spring of 201810403694_942802935742669_5853830675136628447_n, we will continue the annual tradition of planting hundreds of trees at to help offset our carbon footprint. If you would like to get involved in our annual tree planting, let us know. Volunteers are appreciated!

We also plan to enhance Earthology Park to provide more scenic spots with native plants and edibles, and start offering classes and retreats at Earthology Retreat Center. More to come soon!

If you are interested in reserving a cabin at Earthology Retreat Center, please contact us. Reservations are now being accepted. Thanks!

It’s an exciting start to 2018! More to come!
